Sue Newcomb & Sue Caven are 2019 Co-Chairs

2019 challenge rules are to make a Wall Hanging size quilted item. Select from the 1950s top 100 list that Sue Newcomb had at the January 12th meeting.

Tammy Marty is the 2019 Chairman.
WIPS is defined as a project that has been started – with at least some fabric cut. Each January, everyone that wishes to participate fills out their WIPS list including the date the project was originally started & a brief description. One copy is given to the WIPS committee chairman & one is kept by the participate. During the year members bring their completed UFOs for Sew & Share. These will then be crossed off their list. These were started 2018 or earlier.
Prizes will be given at the December meeting for those completing the most items on their list.

Co-Chairs are Connie Barry & Michelle Meyers.
January 12th, 2019 participants are to bring 1 yard of “ugly” 100% cotton fabric in a brown paper sack. Turn your bag into Connie & Michelle at the beginning of the meeting. At the end of the meeting, pick up an exchanged bag from Connie & Michelle.
This is VOLUNTARY. The Co-Chairs number all the bags received & each participant is given a bag. The completed project is returned in the numbered bag at the June 8th Guild meeting. These creations are unveiled and returned to the original owner.
Complete a project using the “ugly” fabric as a primary/focus fabric on the right side or outside of your project. You may make anything you’d like. There are no limits to where your creativity can go.
On June 8th, 2019 – Return your completed project in a brown paper bag to Michelle and Connie at the beginning of the meeting. If you are not able to attend, please ensure someone returns your project for you. The reveal will be done during the meeting.
Please feel free to call Connie or Michelle if you have questions. Thanks for your participation.
