Congratulations!!! to Tammy Marty 2021 Volunteer of the Year



-Sew Days at Maloney House, Hotchkiss, at the Fairgrounds, all are welcome

Bring your lunch and sewing projects. $2 fee

-Last Tuesday Sew Day, December 28th, 10:00am-2:00pm; Holiday Potluck – meat will be provided; please bring a side dish or dessert to share.

-Saturday, January 8th Guild Meeting

More information on 2022 Challenge and Ugly Fabric – participation is voluntary

-Ugly Fabric – Tammy Marty & Kerry Checketts are heading this up. Bring your fabric in a brown paper bag to the January 8th meeting. You are to have 1/2 yard of dark fabric and 1/2 yard of light fabric. The project is to make a 12 1/2 inch block. You may pick your pattern. Reveals will be at the June meeting.

-Challenge – Lida Letey & Pattie Timmerwilke are heading this up. They will announce more in January but you are to make a quilted item using a sudoku puzzle for pattern. You may choose your own fabric. Reveals will be at our July meeting.

-Vet Quilt Sew Days

Vet Quilt Sew Day, the third Monday, of each month.  All are welcome to come and sew.


Block of the Month Chairs are Elaine Leigh, Alice McCracken, & Karla Nolte. 

You have 2 blocks to choose from for January. You may make 1 or both. Monthly you may only put your name in once for a drawing. The blocks are 12 1/2 inch square unfinished or you may make adjustments for smaller blocks. The seams are a strict 1/4 inch. The patterns are attached. These patterns are compliments from Virginia Harkleroad(THANK YOU). The 3rd attachment has some quilt info.  If you have questions you may contact Elaine Leigh, Alice McCracken or Karla Nolte. Their email and phone info are on the guild roster. Thank you Elaine, Alice, and Karla.
