2019 RAFFLE QUILT
The drawing was held on December 7th at 10am at our Guild meeting. The winner is Patty Baker from Berthoud, CO. Congratulations!!!!
The body of the quilt is a Judy Niemeyer paper pieced Wedding Ring. The rose applique on the borders was designed by Trish Tuin, using inspiration from several different pictures that were combined. The quilt size is 93×105. Guild members who helped with this raffle quilt were Barb Rogers, Sue Newcomb, Lida Letey & Trish Tuin(Chairman).
The 2019 Raffle Quilt was quilted by Gayle Smith. Thank You to Trish Tuin & all who helped with this quilt.
Each year our Guild selects a quilt design for the next year’s raffle quilt. Guild members complete blocks for the quilt. Tickets are $1.00 each. The winner will be drawn at our December meeting that is the first Saturday which is our Christmas Party. Monies raised from the raffle ticket sales benefit our Guild’s continuing Quilting education program for our Guild members.

FEBRUARY 8TH – Guild Meeting with Sew Day & Potluck Lunch 9am-4pm
Please bring your sewing machine and supplies to help make caring quilts or vet quilts. Lida will have a simple star pattern to do that we don’t have to worry about cutting off points. Please bring enough fabric to make at least two stars of light, medium, and dark fabrics. You should have at least 1/2 yard of each color.
Also bring any project you are working on for help. Lida will also do a demo on bindings. These will be simple ones so bring something to bind, just a quilt square will work. We can make samples of different kinds. If you have any questions you may contact Lida. 874-8425 email@example.com
